ROSA has been involved in a number of social events intended to raise the awareness of the potential contributors and to increase the income needed to fund the activities which are of benefit to the school. The ROSA events have included the International Reunions, Pantomime, Members’ Luncheons, Valentines Dinners, Trips, Raffles, Bingo Parties and Awards Dinners. The production of Reunion and Anniversary Magazines, ROSA branded shirts, caps and other mementos have also added to the funds raised..
Consequently, in collaboration with the chapters, we have been able to:

• Rebuild the Heritage Centre through the generosity of the French Government
• Refurbish the Chemistry lab
• Build a Library
• Provide a school-Bus
• Refurbish the Science Lab through generosity of the Spanish Govt./Fiesta Hotel
• Install fixtures in the school
• Assist needy students
• Award scholarships to students and graduates
• Award annual prizes to leading students on each Campus
• Launch the School Improvement Programme
• Erect the Mentorship Building.
• Launch the Mentorship Programme.
• Assist with the travel expenses of students representing the school
• Attend RHS Board Meetings.
• Contribute to school events
• ROSA representatives also participate in School events including Careers Day, Labour Day, Boys day, Graduation Ceremony.

Community Outreach.

ROSA recognizes the role of the community in which the school thrives and from which it has drawn both students and teachers. In acknowledging the needs of the more immediate surroundings we have, over the years, donated items of equipment to the Lucea Fire Station, the Dalmally Police Station and the Lucea Infirmary.
